Sales Manager (m/f)

Job Description

Your responsibility will be to further develop existing relationships with worldwide tier-1 and other semiconductor customers as well as develop new businesses. As a sales manager, you will closely work with videantis marketing and technical experts and area sales reps to bring the full range of our video and vision IP product offerings to our customers. You will understand customer needs and expectations and the decision making process and take ownership of customer relations all the way through from initial contact to delivery of our products and repeat sales.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Work closely with potential customers at all levels to understand and leverage customer’s requirements and management business issues
  • Rigorously follow up and prioritize all qualified leads
  • Work closely with videantis marketing and application engineering experts to understand and explain the features and capabilities of our products and solutions relative to the customer’s specific needs
  • Gain access to and influence the appropriate decision makers to manage the evaluation processes in order to pursue business opportunities through to a successful conclusion
  • Take ownership for the relationship between customers and all departments within videantis
  • Maintain, intensify and expand close customer relationships
  • Maintain comprehensive contact, lead and opportunity details on videantis CRM database
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, industry events, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • MS or BA degree in Engineering, Science, or Business discipline
  • Proven background in electronics and semiconductor industry
  • Ability to present detailed technical information
  • Experience in market segments mobile, consumer, and/or automotive
  • Track record in selling semiconductor IP products in video and/or vision domains
  • 7 years of strategic sales experience
  • Strong English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills
  • Strong team player and very self-motivated individual able to work effectively “hands-on” in a small enterprise environment
  • Willing to travel extensively
