IP Cores for Multistandard Home and Mobile Multimedia Applications

The product portfolio includes flexible IP cores with multistandard capability for mobile and stationary video and multimedia applications. As a particular competitive edge, videantis® cores are fully proven in working silicon or on an FPGA prototyping system.

For up to 1080p en-/decoding
v-MP4180HDX: High-end mobile decoding/encoding solution up to full 1080p HD resolution. (PDF, 130k).
For up to 720p en-/decoding
v-MP2040MOB: High-end mobile decoding/encoding solution up to 720p HD resolution. (PDF, 131k).
v-MP2030MOB: Entry-level mobile decoding/encoding solution up to 720p HD resolution with lowest silicon cost and power budget. (PDF, 173k).
For up to D1 en-/decoding
v-MP2020MOB: High-end mobile decoding/encoding solution up to standard definition TV with low silicon cost and power budget. (PDF, 164k).
v-MP2010MOB: Entry-level mobile decoding/encoding solution up to standard definition TV with lowest silicon and power footprint. (PDF, 188k).

IP Cores for Multimedia Applications

For very silicon area sensitive applications that allow to place some additional processing load on an already available host processor for multimedia applications, videantis offers the v-MP2000M/SD/HD familiy of IP cores. The product portfolio comprises
v-MP2000M: Targeted at mobile decoding/encoding solutions up to standard definition TV, the v-MP2000M is based on a single videantis v-MP2 video core. (PDF, 35k).
v-MP2000SD: Targeted at codec solutions up to standard definition TV, the v-MP2000SD is based on a dual v-MP2 video core configuration. (PDF, 36k).
